ABOUT OUR ORGANIZATION (2525 ONTARIO REGIMENT ARMY CADET CORPS)
LOCAL UNIT - Comprised of Cadets (Youth) & Canadian Military Reserve personnel. The LOCAL Unit is where the majority of training is done during the year.
DEPARTMENT OF NATIONAL DEFENSE - The Cadet Program is funded by the Department of National Defense in partnership with the Army Cadet League of Canada. DND pays for Professionally trained instructors, Uniforms, Equipment, Rations, Summer Camp and Exchanges & Expeditions.
SUPPORT COMMITTEE - Comprise of Civilians (Parents & Community members) who ensure financial, accommodations, training equipment and transportation support for programs and services not provided by the Department of National Defense.
THE ROYAL CANADIAN LEGION (Durham Region) - The Royal Canadian Legion is committed to making a difference in the lives of Veterans and their families, providing essential services in our communities, and remembering the men and women who sacrificed for our country
THE ONTARIO REGIMENT (RCAC) The Ontario Regiment (RCAC) is a Primary Reserve armoured reconnaissance regiment of 33 Canadian Brigade Group based in downtown Oshawa, Ontario. The Ontario Regiment is our affliated unit and helps our cadet unit. The cadets wear the Ontario Regiment Cap Badge.
