The Committee is broken into two parts, Support, and Fundraising.
The Support Committee has a board and all members need to be screened. Fundraising members do not need to be screened but can support the Committee when it comes to fundraising ideas and organization.
Support Committees should form an executive, consisting of the following:
(a) Chairperson
(b) Vice-chairperson
(c) Secretary
(d) Treasurer
(e) Fundraising Committee
(f) Public Relations Committee
MEMBERSHIP
Membership is open to any person residing in Ontario who is interested in supporting the purpose and objectives of the League.
This includes, but is not limited to, members of the board of directors, members of the Advisory Council, League Liaison Officers, and Support Committee Chairs.
The function of the Sponsor and /or Corps Support Committee is not just one of providing financial support but of providing effective support for all corps operations and one of working closely with the Commanding Officer, corps staff, and cadets, in order to ensure that the aims and objectives of the Army Cadet program are being achieved.
The primary responsibility of the Sponsor and/or Support Committee is to provide suitable accommodation for the Corps, including offices, lecture rooms, and a secure area in which to keep Cadet Corps stores.
The Sponsor and/or Support Committee is also required to assist the Commanding Officer in the recruiting of Cadets and CIC officers for the corps and to publicize the activities of the corps in the community.
.
Sound, basic organization, and good leadership in the formation of a Corps Support Committee, and working in close cooperation with the corps officers are the real secrets to the success of an Army Cadet Corps.

Support Committee Membership
Below is a list of points explaining who can and cannot be a member on the Corps Support Committee:
1. A person must be invited and selected by the committee, by a vote or motion reflected in the minutes of a Support committee meeting. The Support Committee has the right to vote down someone they feel is not suitable to be a member.
2. Representatives of Sponsors are encouraged to be part of the Support Committee as they have a vested interest in how the funds are spent.
3. Community members are also encouraged to be members of the Support committee.
4. Parents are not automatically a member on the Support Committee and should not attend Support Committee meetings unless they are invited to attend as a guest to see if they would like to join. However, they do not have a voice or vote at the meeting until they are approved as a member of the Committee.
5. Paid staff such as CIC Officers and Civilian instructors cannot be members on the Support Committee or League volunteers as this would be a conflict of interest as they cannot serve both the League and DND at the same time.
6. Civilian Volunteers work under the supervision of the CO and are not automatically a member of the Support Committee. However, some Support Committee members are also Civilian Volunteers.
7. Spouses or relatives of the Commanding Officer, should not hold a position of Chairperson or Treasurer on the Support Committee unless there is no one else and then only on a temporary basis until another person can be found to hold that position.
8. All volunteers including members on the Support Committee and Civilian Volunteers must be screened by the League with a photo ID card.
