THESE ARE THE CADET MEDALS AVAILABLE TO ALL CADETS BASED ON QUALIFICATIONS
THE ARMY CADET SERVICE MEDAL (ACSM)
The Army Cadet Service Medal (ACSM) is issued to cadets for 4 years of service and an additional year-by-year ribbon is added to the award.
HOW TO APPLY ? THE COMMANDING OFFICER WILL TAKE CARE OF THIS FOR YOU.
These awards are awarded in the fall and in the spring of each year.

THE ROYAL CANADIAN LEGION MEDAL
The Royal Canadian Legion Cadet Medal of Excellence
The Royal Canadian Legion (RCL) Cadet Medal of Excellence is awarded in recognition for individual endeavors in citizenship that meet or enhance the aims and objectives of the cadet movement.
HOW TO APPLY?
To apply for this medal write a letter to your Commanding Officer on why you meet the expectations for consideration.

THE COLONEL R.PERRON AWARD
The Colonel-Robert-Perron Award
is awarded for Excellence in Physical Fitness (hereinafter referred to as the “Perron Award”) is a national award that is presented annually to the top male and female cadets who demonstrate the best physical fitness.
FITNESS TESTING IS DONE FROM SEPTEMBER 1ST TO MARCH 31ST 2023 and AWARD FORM SUBMITTED NLT APRIL 15TH 2023.
THE COMMANDING OFFICER WILL REVIEW ALL RESULTS AND COMPLETE THE FORM FOR THE CADET IF THEY SCORE HIGH ENOUGH ON THE FITNESS TESTING.

The Duke of Edinburgh Awards
These awards are not part of our existing cadet corps offering at the local unit. However, cadets are free to sign up FOR THE PROGRAM AND WORK DIRECTLY WITH THE DofE Program. Cadets can wear the medal if they are awarded them outside the cadet unit.

MUGGING OUT & MARCH OFF CEREMONY (GRADUATING CADETS ONLY)
MUGGING OUT & MARCH OFF CEREMONY
2525 Army Cadets Corps will present a MUG
to Graduating Cadets and be marched off the parade square by the RSM
during the Annual Cadet Review of the Cadet year
The Mug will have the Cadets' Graduating RANK, NAME and YEARS OF SERVICE with the regimental logo.
ELIGIBILITY (Effective SEPTEMBER 2023):
Cadets leaving the cadet program (Aging out/other reasons) who have reached the rank of MWO (Master Warrant Officer) or Higher
Are in attendance for the ACR (Annual Ceremonial Review) of that graduating year
Inform the Commanding Officer 3 months prior to the ACR in that cadet year plans are graduating.
INELIGIBILITY:
Cadets who leave the program mid-year and do not attend the ACR are not eligible at a later timeframe for the Mugging out or March off. There is no backdating to include former Cadets from past years.
