Orienteering Training - Saturday September 22nd, 2018

(Mandatory for all Star Level Cadets)

Orienteering is a sport in which the competitor uses a map and a compass to navigate across terrain to find a series of pre-designated markers to score points.


Within the cadet program, each fall we conduct Orienteering competitions at both the Area and Provincial levels.

This event is mandatory for all cadets and is part of the training program.

 Location (Drop off and Pickup)


Location: Greenwood Conservation Park (Westney/Taunton, Ajax) (click link to see map)

Parent drop off and pick will be where the RED circle below (in large parking lot).

 Departure Time 1530hrs
 Dress Attire

Civilian clothing (do not wear your cadet uniform or FTU/combats).

Wear comfortable clothing and foot wear. Dress according to the weather.
 Items to bring

- Those that got a whistle last year, please bring it.

- Bug spray and sun screen

- Health Card

- Water bottle with water

- Paper and pen/pencil

All Cadets require to have his/her Ontario Health Card in their possession (not a photocopy).
