The Ontario Regiment 2525 Army Cadet Corps - Wilderness Volunteer and Educational Event / April 28th, 2018

posted Sep 8, 2014, 7:09 AM by Cadets2525 Admin   [ updated Mar 13, 2018, 10:55 AM ]
All cadets are welcome to attend.

This event is for all cadets to participate in assisting a local non-profit organization who rescue, rehabilitate and release sick, injured, abandoned and orphaned wildlife.

As the winter weather will leave their grounds with unwanted trees, and debris, the cadets will assist in the clean up, laying down wood chips, clearing brush, repairing shelters, and other misc tasks. Thereafter, the cadets will be provided with an educational session with the Wilderness instructors on the animals and their environment.

Cadets will be provided transportation to and from this event and will also be provided lunch.

Cadets who would like to claim volunteer hours can do so, but must have all their paperwork filled in and ready to be signed.
